What is the best thing that I love about my work?

As a dancer I love the freedom that I have with that.

I just need my body and nothing else.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

Somewhere between me and you.

What is my greatest fear?

Inertia.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

That I can be super egoistic.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

I really admire those who continue to dance even with all the difficulties of living from art especially my closest friends with whom I can share these struggles and create diferent routes.

What is my greatest extravagance?

To always be going away or… to be always returning - depending on the point of view.

On what occasion would I lie?

There is a Brazilian song that says “mentiras sinceras me interessam”, trying to translate “I'm interested in sincere lies”.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

The physical pain.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

On the stage.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I would add a teleportation skil.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

The ability to connect and communicate without words.

Where would I most like to live?

Close to the sea.

What is my most treasured possession?

Frida, my dog.

What is my most marked characteristic?

That I dress my self like an onion, in layers.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

My bedroom.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

There is this bar/restaurant in a really nice area that a friend took me once, and twice, and it is completely addictive….Negroni, where you can find a really good food and amazing drinks.

What books influenced my life and how?

"Manuelzão e Miguilim” of João Guimarães Rosa. When I discovered that it was possible to cry while reading a book. Experiencing another dimension of art as a place of shock and communion between different worlds.

Who are my favorite writers?

João Guimarães Rosa, Mia Couto, Manoel de Barros…

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

"Mistério do Planeta" by Novos Baianos.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

I think I don´t have one…..

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

My parents.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?

“A Clockwork Orange” by Stanley Kubrick.

What role plays art in my life and work?

Art is the space of creation, the place where I constantly learn to face my demons.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

My mother.

Whom would I like to work with in 2018?

There are two guys that I would love to work with: Luke Jessop and Diogo Granato.

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018?

I would love to meet more masters of diferent tradition dances, people whom don´t separate their art from their life.

What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on?

The 10th aniverssary of my company in Brazil and the tour of my solo “A Cabra”.

What do the words "Passion Never Retires" mean to me?

A romantic way to say “don´t loose yourself”.
